During on of their striking performance captured in their documentary, Marina Abramović and Ulay explore the raw collision of two bodies creating a third energy. The strong, violent impacts of these two bodies crushing each other is so difficult to watch... But we know the pain, we know it too well – the pain of male and female energies in disharmony, inside our own polarization and in our relationships with others. But isn't it at the same time the most beautiful dance towards unity we can experience?! Each time the impact happens, the outer concrete layer of protection crumbles... until there is nothing left but two naked souls with their hearts wide open.
